What is the first step?

Before starting a new exercise program, you need to identify your goals and find out what type of program is best suited for you. Are you looking to lose weight? Each goal has a different objective, so its important to make sure you are working smart, and doing the program which is best suited for what you want to accomplish. Our office will schedule an examination to determine if you have any injuries that may affect your program, and put you on the type of plan which points you in the right direction. If you suffer an injury, we are there to offer chiropractic care and flexibility training to help you get back to your activities as soon as possible.

How long does it take to see results?

Everyone wants to see results, but being patient is part of the process. If you are looking to lose weight, cutting back on calories and increasing your cardiovascular training on a progressive basis will help with weight loss. If strength is your goal, identifying which exercises and resistance is key. This is why getting a chiropractic evaluation is essential to see what is appropriate for you, and help reduce the chance of injuring yourself.

What happens if I get shin splints, back pain, or sciatica from walking?
